- In this week's reading, I was pleasantly surprised by the coverage of basic financial accounting. It was like reading over a general overview of the first chapter of Introduction to Financial Accounting, that I took in my freshman year at UF with Professor Goslinga. I was surprised by the coverage of this material in this chapter but then realized this is a critical component that an entrepreneur must be familiar with when setting up his business.
- There were no parts of this reading that I was confused by, as it was a general overview of material that I had covered before in a financial accounting class.
- I would want to ask the author these two questions:
- Should an entrepreneur know financial accounting well or should he have an expert in charge of his financials?
- What are the benefits of credible financials and how can an entrepreneur bounce back after not that credible financials?
- I do not think the author was wrong about anything in this text. The material he covered were very scientific and mathematical.
